First off, I am a bit remiss in that I didn't e-mail you sooner, but have been on constant travel. In short, my 1 Jan - 8 Jan stay was wonderful. The view, security staff and location were the best. I have been on travel to Panama over 20 times in the last 10 years and have stayed at either the Executive or the Crown Plaza and just loved your place.
I again will be in Panama for 7 days in late April/early May.
I will adjust my schedule around the apartment or a similar in the same location. What 7 day blocks are available? Because of air fares I prefer Thus to Tues but at this time am flexible.
Hope you are enjoying something other than cold Canada as I write this from Hawaii.
Just a quick note to let you know that JOSE was a really huge help during my stay in Panama and he is one of those guys that really goes above and beyond to help a visitor in need. He was a huge asset during my stay in Panama and he was greatly appreciated.
I hope to visit again soon and I will definitely want to stay with you again. The apartment was very convenient and close to everything and it was very comfortable. Again, I was pleasantly surprised by all the accomodations and Jose was just beyond words, a very good man.
Let me know if you would be so kind as to e-mail me and let me know when to look in paypal for my $300 deposit. I think you said it would take a few days to send it back to me, but if you could shoot me a quick e-mail telling me when you send it would save me some checking. Not many like Jose in the world... I assume you know that already, but I noticed too, as I am sure others will in the future. What can I say, without his help, my entire trip would have gone into the toilet, and he took time away from his family to do it without even flinching... did I say how great Jose Mora was? Hope you are doing well. My holiday is over and I am back in NYC. I just wanted to tell you what a wonderful time I recently had staying at Bahia Balboa!!! How amazing to wake up every morning with beautiful views of the Bahia de Panama!!! The apartment is great and the staff is very helpful. Everything you need is at your doorstep, from first class shopping, restaurants, you name it! Jose is a pleasure to know. What a great asset he is to represent you in Panama City.
If anyone is planning a holiday to Panama, and is even considering staying at a hotel, make the right choice and stay at one of Sarah's properties instead. I felt right at home at Bahia Balboa and you will too!

This was our first deviation from a hotel stay and we are hooked on owner direct rentals. The service you provided from answering the many questions when we reserved, to the personal check in and advice on where to go, where to eat in Panama City was amazing.

You may not recall us, we are a couple of Aussie, we were in Panama City last week. Jose, collected us from the airport and then to the apartment.
The apartment was great thanks and Jose was a delightful person, he was always available to us and was helpful, we knew he was more expensive than just getting a taxi from the street but he was always there for us when needed, so he was appreciated and hopefully you will pass on our thanks and regards to him.
The apartment is wonderful, everything we could possibly need is here! We did go to Super 99, RebaSmith, and MegaDepot. Today we went to Albrook Mall, only got lost about 20 times. Ken bought a spanish to english hand held computer today, so that should help us out quite a bit. :<)
We are having cocktails now, and the doors to the balcony are open...nice breeze....Love it here!!
I wanted to convey to you what a wonderful job you are doing with your rentals. I emailed 10 different people, and not only was yours the first response, but the most professional and friendly and covered all the questions. Your attention to detail is appreciated. When we arrived, even more impressive was your property.
I realize you have just done a big renovation and how much work that must have been. The addition of the balcony was a great idea, that’s where we spent all our time. Also nice to have new beds, linens and a tv in the bedroom.
We slept soundly, had no troubles getting around as everything was within walking distance, and as well, appreciated the services of Jose. What a gem!

Joyce and I really enjoyed our stay at your condo. We sat out on the balcony every evening and looked at the bay. The condo was very convenient to everything. The receptionist was also very helpful to us. If we come back anytime soon we would like to stay at the condo again.

Follows is the flood of memories produced from my recent stay in Panama Sarah's condo in Panama City -- a two bedroom condo tastefully decorated, beautifully furnished (thanks Sarah, for not letting the furniture get crappy, keeping it new, attractive, high-end, expensive -- do you buy new furniture from time to time?). Inside and out, what a great condo with spectacular views of the City, harbor and canal from the 14th floor, high and free from the traffic noise.
I regret that I ever decided to stop living in the Hispanic world where I had spent nine of the happiest years of my life (Spain 6, México 3). I have an immense shared love with Hispanic people, started 40 years ago when I decided in the university to become fluent in Spanish. Just in case you are not fluent in Spanish and feel "spooky about the Hispanic world," once you establish contact with Sarah/José via email and/or cell a "real person-to-person" relationship develops in Panama City with the Sarah/Jose team.
Sarah is a Canadian. Jose a super Panameño who speaks great English. These two compadres are pleasant, honest and may I add a pleasure to be with –- especially if they invite you to a four-hour Hispanic lunch in any one of the incredible restaurants in the City, having pricing right out of the 1980s, rarely do meals come to more that $25-$40 per person, including wine. José, a handsome/guapo panameño/Panamanian, with his comfortable air-conditioned car and his super hispanic persona, will meet any of your transportation, guiding and tourist needs in the city. He'll share with you his knowledge and love for Panama. ¡Qué país! ¡Viva Panamá!
More on Sarah: Just in case you'd like a little more comfort and confidence in dealing with a private rental owner, below is the first email I sent her upon my return: "That was the greatest of afternoon's lunches with you and José. You are a super Lady. I like everything about you. I hope my 15 year old daughter comes out with half of what you've got. What an intelligent, attractive person and businesswoman, one who has it together AND knows how to enjoy living al stylo hispano. I've finally awaken again to know that I can't live any longer here in Gringolandia. I'm moving to Panamá as soon as I can make the arrangements."
Thanks again for making my stay so pleasant with your condo serving as a beautiful and comfortable base to make my explorations of el mundo panameño. I look forward to seeing you and José again soon, staying once again at La Bonanza or any other rental you have.
My friend and I stayed in this lovely 2-bedroom apartment for 10 days. It had everything we needed, including a nice kitchen so we could cook when we wanted, and a washer/dryer combo, which allowed us to pack light.
We walked everywhere from this great location, evn though cabs are inexpensive. Easy access to some great restaurants, whether you head toward El Cangrejo or Obarrio, or go out along the bay toward multicentro.
Best of all, for two people to share the rental cost gives a great bargain, much homier than staying in a hotel and having to go out for every meal. The apartment is loaded with amenities which make it a great deal. Two separate bedrooms and baths make it doubly nice.
Just a note to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at the Bonanza Penthouse. The condo was very neat, modern and the view was gorgeous.
We loved Jose. He is very personable and friendly as well as very knowledgeable about the different areas in Panama. We occaisionally used other taxi drivers and compared to them -- he is a blessing to have. He helped us with Spanish as neither Bob or I speak Spanish very well. he was very patient with us and was always available when we needed him.
Thanks again for allowing us to spend time in your apartment. We will keep you in mind when we travel to Panama in the future!
I want to thank you very much for the use of the apartment this week. As I am preparing to leave tomorrow, I can"t help but tellling you how comfortable the apartment has been.
Everything was there that we ever needed and the furniture and accessories were beautiful. I felt safe at all times. I look forward to staying here again on any future visit, I mean everything was there right down to light bulbs and a hammer should one need it. Keep up the good work.
